Would you like to help survey adders on the hills?
The Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme is running a free training day on Saturday 17 March at Crowcombe Village Hall.
As part of the Partnership’s legacy, the Friends of the Quantocks will take on the survey in future years, so come and be part of the team making a real difference to understanding and protecting this precious species.
With help from adder specialist John Dickson from The Reptile and Amphibian Group for Somerset, you can learn all about the amazing adders before heading out to see if we can find some. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill, meet like-minded wildlife lovers and explore the Quantocks in a unique way.
