Wildlife Walk

On 4 May a group of members enjoyed a wildlife walk led by John Andrews. We started and finished at Holford. John’s knowledge of the plants, flowers and birds of the Quantocks enhanced the experience. The weather was favourable and we heard birdsong from some of our common birds but also the willow warbler, a species sadly in decline in the UK but hopefully thriving on the Quantocks.

Friends of Quantock have arranged another guided walk on 17 October at Steart Marshes.
