New Project Officer – Tracey Roberts

Originally from Yorkshire, Tracey moved to West Somerset twenty-four years ago, fulfilling a long-held dream to live by the sea.

In a career managing arts and cultural charities and delivering consultancy across the voluntary and public sectors, and more recently as a teacher and retreat facilitator, her passion is for creating collaboratively, helping others to help themselves in germinating ideas for the greater good of the community.

Up until 2016 she managed ARTlife, West Somerset’s arts development service, supporting communities and arts professionals to increase and develop the range of cultural activity in the area. She was part of the team that instigated and launched The Coleridge Way walking route.

Happiest outdoors, she is an enthusiastic walker, often with sketchbook in hand, and leads regular wellbeing weeks at Halsway Manor, weaving together her combined loves of nature and the countryside, yoga and creativity and following the cycle of the seasons.

She’s looking forward to making a contribution to raising public awareness, celebrating and protecting the Quantock Hills environment and supporting the communities that live here, especially in this 75th anniversary year.
