Wildlife Walk from Nether Stowey to Dowsborough 23rd June – Book Now

Book your place now to join local natural history author Nigel Phillips to explore the wildlife on a route from Nether Stowey into the AONB area, through the woodland and along the heathland up to Dowsborough hill fort before returning to Nether Stowey.

“It’s a circular walk through some very fine woodland and heathland habitats and we shall be looking out for plants, birds and insects all along the route.

It is uphill to the top of Dowsborough but we will be going very slowly so we can enjoy the scenery!”

Places can be booked via Eventbrite.

The walk is free to members and £5 on the day for non-members. All walkers must pre-book to secure their place.

c.9km, elevation gain 280m, moderate walk uphill at a gentle pace.
